Harney & Sons - Japanese Sencha

type: green (sencha)
style: sachet or loose leaf

Although not a Japanese brand, the flavor is fresh, bright and not too grassy. A solid choice for the sencha lover! I would recommend a very fine strainer.

Harney & Sons - Dragon Pearl Jasmine

type: green, white
style: sachet or loose leaf

Absolutely delightful, I cannot get enough of this. Light and refreshing, sweetly floral but not at all soapy - this is a favorite.

Jugetsudo - Sakuracha

type: green (sencha)
style: loose leaf

This tea comes in a box with an image of Hokusai’s woodblock print titled Mt. Fuji at Gotenyama. Makes a great gift!

A gift from a friend. I really enjoyed this! The hint of cherry blossom was pleasant.

Harney & Sons - Darjeeling

type: black
style: sachet or loose leaf

No complaints! A solid darjeeling. Good with milk or without.

Harney & Sons - Victorian London Fog

type: black & oolong
style: sachet or loose leaf

"smooth black teas with bright citrus, sweet vanilla & lavender"

A wonderful scent, if a bit perfumy. The Harney & Sons blends in the special tins seem to share this aromatic quality, which I'm not sure I'm fond of. Best with milk.

The Republic of Tea - Vanilla Almond

type: black
style: sachet or loose leaf

A wonderful dessert tea! Heavenly aroma. Pair with milk and sugar for best results.

Harney & Sons - White Christmas

type: white
style: sachet

"white tea with vanilla & almond flavors"

As a fan of vanilla and almond, I had high hopes for this tea. Unfortunately the scent is overpowering (my partner could smell it from across the room!) and perfumy in nature. The tin it comes in is cute, at least.

Russian - Royal Tea

type: black (ceylon)
style: loose leaf

Large, uncrushed leaves and a strong bergamot flavor make this an outstanding earl grey.

Twinings - Earl Grey

type: black
style: sachet

A solid budget option! I always keep this stocked and drink it quite a bit. Good with milk or without.

Metropolitan - The Original Maple Tea

type: black (ceylon)
style: sachet

The scent of maple is delightful, but I felt the flavor was a bit mild. Two sachets for a stronger brew and milk makes for a cozy dessert.
